Head Coach Hot Board

The board uses four simple stages: Wood, Smoke, Fire, and Inferno. Reports from multiple sources move a candidate toward Smoke, while a newly reported interview, finalist status, or offer can raise the heat to Fire or Inferno.

All approved reports remain part of each candidate’s totals and ranking. Duplicate links count once, and repeated reporting by the same reporter is capped so one voice cannot dominate the board. Fan picks never affect media heat.

This tracks reporting activity, not hiring odds or confirmed candidacy.
